Kubota Manufacturing of America (KMA) and Kubota Industrial Equipment (KIE) have been integral parts of Kubota’s North American operations for the past three decades. These two Georgia-based plants are amongst the largest in the United States, with a combined total of more than 600,000 square feet and 1,200 employees.
Today, KMA produces and assembles a variety of equipment including sub-compact tractors, lawn tractors, zero turn mowers, backhoes, loaders and utility vehicles. Meanwhile KIE specializes in building tractors as well as implements and accessories for them. In 2013 they expanded their facility to 460 000 square feet in response to increased demand for compact tractor production.
